While we are on the topic of NM KSAM files, can anyone offer
advice, suggestions etc. on a recovery procedure for NM KSAM
files in the event of a system crash ?
Does XM automatically guarantee the integrity of the index ?
With CM KSAM files, it was standard procedure to run KSAMUTIL
KEYINFO,RECOVER after a system failure.

TIA,

Tad.

Since no-one else has explicitly mentioned it, I would add the following

don't forget to use NM Ksam rather than CM Ksam.

We found NM 30-40% faster !
