As long as we're correcting one misspelling of mine, we ought to correct the
other. Albert Michaelson's name is correctly spelled "Michelson," without the
"a." My apologies.

I discovered my error (and failing memory) when I went to verify my dates
about his Virginia City story. In that regard, a little bit of his life story
can be gotten from these sites, one of which is in Poland (in that region
that was once called Prussia):
