It is my understanding that on MPE 5.5 FTP will abort when you have a
     Delete command and an Exitonerror.


     No patches as of yet.

     We've replaced one of older systems with a new 969/220 running MPE
     5.5. Since that change one of our external clients has had problems
     ftp'ing to the new system.  Because of this problem, they are
     continuing to transfer files to the old system which we then have to
     transfer to the new system.

     At first I assumed is was a firewall or login problem, but the client
     sent me a screen shot of what is happening.  She is getting logged in
     fine, but when she executes any commands, such as "dir", she gets the
     following error message:

     "No data transferred Foreign host did not respond within OPEN timeout.
     (8560)."

     I've tried to duplicate the problem with other machines we have here,
     but it works fine for me.

     Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciate.  We really want
     to remove the old system, but can't until this problem is resolved.
