     Just in case anyone cares to try and call someone here in the Portland
Oregon area come the summer of '99... it looks like we will be doing a Area
Code Overlay to increase hte number of phones we can have.... :( ... They
had expected this to be needed between 2003 and 2008 but no such luck...

     Welcome to the '90's ... why don't we just increase the number of
digits in a phone number?????  8 or 9 digits and say a 4 digit area code
would buy us more time...wouldn't it?
