Dumb question time again.

Anybody got a quick explanation about the purpose of the various
xVOL commands in SYSGEN that do not appear to be used versus
the VOLUTIL commands?

Why do the two not seem to communicate?

Does information entered in VOLUTIL wind up in any configuration
group or is it strictly on the drives themselves?

If find it disconcerting that the LVOL from SYSGEN doesn't list
all the disc drives.  Can't be much of a problem since it's been
that way for a few years now.
