External hardware such as Terminals, Printers, Tape Drives, Disk Drives and
Plotters as well as internal hardware such as Bus Converters, Channel
Adapters, and Device Adapters are operating system dependant. An ASCII
file containing a list of all supported product numbers of devices
that may be configured in an HP3000 computer system is included with the
release of the operating system. The file is called IODEVACC located
in the DIAG group of the SYS account or IODFAULT located in the PUB group
of the SYS account.
The file IODEVACC.DIAG.SYS or IODFAULT.PUB.SYS can be reviewed in a variety
of ways.
o :PRINT IODEVACC.DIAG.SYS or
:PRINT IODFAULT.PUB.SYS
will list the contents of the file.
o The EDITOR can be used to text the file in, then list the contents.
o FCOPY can be used to copy the contents.
Each of the above can list the contents of the file to the screen of a
terminal or to a printer.
The file should not be modified by any one other than qualified Hewlett-
Packard personel or a user knowledgable of its use and structure.
hope this answer's your question.
