Since you were only trying to create the CSLT, I would assume you have not technically started the upgrade. And since the upgrade was not started, you have nothing to back out.
I guess I have a few questions. What kind of tape drive did you try to create the CSLT on? What media where you using? Did it happen in the beginning, i.e. before the tape was created? Or after the tape "spun" awhile?
Finally, do you have any autoboot parameters set?
I have a dozen or more so questions, so if you are truely stuck, feel free to give me a call.

Hi All, I am trying to upgrade my 987 to 6.5. When Autoinst tries to create
the CCLT tape I get the following Error:
JCW STATUS = (INFO : O: SYSBYS : 0)
JCW VALUE: 32768
ERROR EXECUTING SYSGEN COMMANDS WHILE BUILDING THE CSLT (INSTERR #46)
Three questions:
1. What is the matter?
2. How can I fix it?
3. How can I back out of the upgrade and restore to where it was?
TIA
