I have already had to back this patch after suffering Oracle Gateway issues
and a few system aborts on a VERY stable machine. I say noway.

I have here, on my desk, my MPE/iX PowerPatch 5 Tape, ready for install.

I've seen some horror stories here, and heard them elsewhere. I've also
heard good things.

So the question is - for anyone who wants to answer - should I, or
shouldn't
I, update the 918DX to PP5?

Joe, you won't first by a long shot,
I installed PP5 on Sep 6 on our 995/500 + all the reactive patches as of
that date, so far no problems.
