It is interesting that your 2 government examples above used
liberal/socialist ideals to enslave their citizens for the good of the
"state".

This is the natural evolution of socialist societies where the rights of
the individual are stripped and given to the government so it can
control those evil forces who seek to live their own lives and dare to
believe that every individual is responsible for their own destiny. Able
bodied citizens must work for the betterment of everyone, except
themselves, and must be punished for any attempt to improve their own
lives.

Sadly the "Freedom OF Speech" movement of the 60's liberal has turned
into the "Freedom FROM Speech" movement of today's liberal. Any speech
that does not agree with the liberal agenda is labeled "Hate Speech" or
defined as unacceptable because it might offend some fringe element.
Respect for the right to express conservative ideas is as foreign to
most liberals as respect for the right to express christian ideas is to
an islamic fundamentalist.

Republicans are criticized daily in the liberally biased press for every
offense from poisoning children to strangling senior citizens. However
just as the boy who cried wolf was finally ignored, the news media is
beginning to find its own repeated distortions are ringing hollow with
the general public. This is good for the Republicans, as disinformation
is one of the most potent weapons used by liberals to fight them, but
bad for the nation as a whole as true issues of concern are lost in the
noise of the news media's partisan attacks.

The sleeping giant of the American public is stirring and what may prove
to be the decisive battle between liberal and conservative schools of
thought is looming larger every day. 9/11 not only woke us to the
dangers of internation terrorism but also highlighted how much the hard
left truly hates America and its people.

BTW... I am not a registered Republican. I am an anti-liberal American
who despises everything the liberal agenda represents and sees the
Republican party as the best of the available options at this time, but
in no way as perfect.

Comments are my own, not my employer's... Etc.
