We currently use Netbase client from windows to the HP3000 to allow a
windows application to remotely call a procedure (usually a cobol
subroutine living in an XL) on the HP3000.
I didn't find anything available from the vendors, but we are replacing
it with acuconnect from acucorp (now microfocus) and are writing the
middleware parts ourselves to provide a black box solution for our
initial migration.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Netbase client for HP-UX shared library question
Hi All:
A few years ago, we did a little project in which we used Netbase Client
for
Windows. If I remember correctly, it used a netbase.dll as its
interface
for MPE-like calls. I am curious about how the same thing works for
HP-UX
ia64. Is there a libnetbase.so? There does not seem to be any online
documentation on the subject.
