Sorry for the late response, as I was out last Friday. They are all
variable length ASCII files I.E.

FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
DMEMBR01 8960B VA 1991 50000 1 2496 1 *

We are using Bridgeware and usually everything works fine, however that day
the job was just crawling. While I was trying to fix that specific problem
that day, I was mostly trying to add to my internal list of steps of how to
identify what resources a process is (or might be) waiting on. That is why
I was trying to get additional information on SHOT. It is a utility that I
don't have much experience with. I was hoping that by looking at the
process from a different angle (or with a different program) that I might
derive more information that might assist me in actually making a reasonable
(if not accurate) conclusion.
