Sorry for the additional airplay on this.  Per recommendations, I'm now
killing JINETD by logging on as MANAGER.SYS (to get SM) and issuing :RUN
INETD.NET.SYS;INFO="-k" in an attempt to get a clean shutdown.  That
"works", but JINETD still says "JOB aborted by system management. (CIERR
6027)", which is exactly what I'm trying to get around.  Any ideas?  TIA
