Evan, I read recently that you could drop support as soon as
you got 5.0 with the bundled ARPA. They are NOT going to add
line items for this. Whether they *allow* it or not is not
really an issue in this case. Anyone can drop support for any
product at any time and get an adjusted support contract. I
plan to do this the day after I install 5.0! Granted, the HP
contracts folks can get confused, but they'll get it right
eventually.
