Your subject line almost looks like GUI3000, which is actually a product
for the 3000. I am not a vendor, rather a user of GUI3000. It doesn't
give you the ODBC interface, and it's not a development tool. However I
use during the process of program development, to retrieve image data
set/item structure, and to retrieve image data also. GUI3000 is really
an operations tool. It is completely GUI, and supports job/sess mangmt,
spoolfile management, Disc space, Database Explore & Capacity
Management, User, Group, and Account management, UDC's, Console Logs,
even Device Management, and it's all GUI, it's also got a MS-Windows
type File Explorer. Since I got GUI3000, I don't use the MPE command
interface much anymore, just point -n- click from GUI3000.

We are looking for a GUI interface to HP3000 Image databases. I would
appreciate hearing about people's experience with the multiple tools
currently available. Ease of development, efficiency, overhead,
look-and-feel, price and support are all factors. Plus probably other
criteria I have not thought of yet.

I am happy to hear from vendors. However, I ask that you please state
clearly you are a vendor representing the product. If replying to the
list
also, the standard <plug> notation would be appropriate. Please note
any
sales pitches disguised as objective opinion will immediately remove
the
offending vendor from consideration.
