After you replace the failed disk, follow very carefully checklist J in the
HPe3000 MPE/iX System Software Maintenance Manual (HP pn 30216-90342) to
reinstall the OS from your latest CSLT. At the end of that, you will do a
restore of all of your user files.

Hi,

I have a HPe3000 N4000 box with MPE/ix 7.5, Please, I need a "How to"
recover from boot disk failure (OS disk). do I use an "update" from SLT tape
or is necessary to do an "Install" ?.
