Carl,
Is this set of files an identifiable fileset? If so, execute the following command:
LISTF fileset, 6>FILELIST
where "fileset" is either an MPE/iX fileset with wild cards or a previously
typed list of file in a file
After this command, FILELIST will be a temporary file with a fully qualified name of
every file that interests you.
Bring this file into an editor and change column 1 to "DISPLAYEXTENTS " in the whole
file. Add a final record with the word 'EXIT' (no quotes).
Then run:
FSCHECK.MPEXL.TELESUP<FILELIST>outfile
where outfile can be a disk file or a back reference to a spoolfile definition.

This is a good idea. My only problem is that I need to run this for
numerous files and the typing would kill me!
