Hi,

If STORE is reporting the Low Level I/O error, -44 means
that the device manager noticed a hardware error of some kind
(real useful, eh?).

Try:

   :sysdiag
   logtool
   list log=###; type=111

where ### is the log file number for the log file in
use during the VSTORE.  (You might need to do a SWITCHLOG first.)

If that generates a lot of messages, try:

   list log=###; type=111; ldev=7

(where 7 is your DDS ldev #)
