Howdy,

So we got our laser rom documentation awhile back and decided.....""Well if the 3k is down
and we need references (long time since I fooled with VOLUTIL and such) what good will
it do us on a dead 3k?". So we loaded it on a PC file server.

Yep, you got it. Now I need info and although the server is up the PC we were using as the
client was disappeared and returned in pretty sad shape. So no reference documents.
Go figure.

The question is a COBOL question. In arithmetic functions such as ADD, MULTIPLY, COMPUTE you have a ROUNDED option. If I recall the default is to round up but you
can specify round down. What is the syntax for rounding down, or am I remembering
some old IBM, or VAX or whatever syntax.

BTW for those who have read the post on the Darwin Award Winner...my understanding
is that Larry Waters is a UNIX kind of guy ;-))

TIA
