Enlightened Ladies and Gentlemen,

I had been under the assumption that Indirect Files were parsed in a manner
that allowed the entries to be added in a freeform format, namely that you
could specify an account (e.g. @[log in to unmask]) and possibly another account (e.g.
@[log in to unmask]) and then you could put several excluded filesets (e.g. -
[log in to unmask]@.MYACCT, - @[log in to unmask], [log in to unmask] etc) on separate lines. However, to
my chagrin, I have just found out that the excluded filesets MUST appear
immediately after the specification for the account in question or they are
ignored (without any error or warning message), even though they may appear on
separate lines. To my knowledge there is no documentation about the format of
indirect files anywhere so this (minor) point had escaped my notice.

Can anyone shed any light on this matter, direct me to some documentation
and/or inform me of any other "gotchas" with the format of indirect files ??

TIA,

Cheers,
John Dunlop ([log in to unmask])
