hi all!

i've got one system that seems to have a real attachment
(:-) to a file called 'NEWVOL.PUB.SYS'. if the file is
missing, sysgen complains that it's missing (but i don't
think it actually blows up). to keep sysgen 'happy', i
built a file called newvol. sysgen now says the file is
empty (which it is) but goes on creating an slt tape.
anyone know what this file is or why this one system seems
to care so much about it? - d
