Hi Richard,

Thanks very much for your posting.

I know that there are many whose opinions are similar to mine and many
whose opinions aren't.

That's expected and It's fun for me to read, agree with or not,
criticize or not and present an opposing view or not. The only downside
consists of those occasions when the author of an opposing view
digresses from the argument at hand to cast aspersions on the
character, intelligence and/or motives of someone whose views are
antithetical to theirs. Whenever that happens, I always wonder if the
author realizes that, by resorting to such tactics, they are simply
acknowledging a lack of faith in their own position and thus weakening
their own argument(s).
