I received the following from my network manager. This product was in place before I came to work here and I have not been involved with it, so any suggestions are welcome.
"The equipment we had was a Faxpress 1500N that the HP would print to a Novell Print Queue called "embed". We had a box that ran a program called the Advanced Embedded Codes Gateway. This would read the print Queue on the Novell server and strip the embedded information in the print job (The to: from: and fax number:) to input it into the FaxPress to fax out whatever the customer service and Revere users needed.
"What we need to know is if anyone else is doing anything like this and what they are using to do this."
Apparently the person who wrote the code for the 1500N died last year and took the source code with him. The 2500 version does not work with our current set up so we need another way to fax from the HP. Can anyone help point us in the right direction?
