<<I have yet to learn about anyone out there that is using telnet for
other than library system and similar read-only and limited data entry
access. They have 2 major applications they use for service
dispatching/billing and inventory/purchasing, involving a respectable
amount of data entry, inquiry, and reporting. Is anyone using this now or
considering it?>>
 
Of our usual 70-90-session load, we typically have 10-15 Telnet users
(running Reflection, Business Session, or some other emulator) on our
VPlus-based factory-automation system. Several of the modules display
character-mode report or query data. Works fine.
