the problem is that an MPE spool file is NEVER going to print
correctly from anything that doesn't understand HP CCTL codes. Use
FCOPY to strip off those codes and you should be able to FTP the
resultant file to just about anywhere.

Note that the Reveal product does exactly that ... it converts the HP
Spool file to something a bit less bizarre before archiving it into
it's database.
