I guess I have two answers:

1)  We'd prefer to limit your exposure to the "bad" Linkeditor, but so far,
no one has had problems using it ONCE to install the Powerpatch.  We'd
prefer that you wait, but if that is inconvenient, you are probably okay.
Like I mentioned in an earlier post -- the problem is theoretical -- no 6.0
customer has reported any problems.

2)  There probably is a way to obtain the "good" Patch/iX from the web & use
it to install the PP tape you have, but I'd have to check with our technical
guys before I could verify that you can do that (and before I could tell you
how to do that).  But I wanted to give you an answer right away.  I'll get
back with you as soon as I talk with Mike Dovano & others.
