On one of my production accounts I am getting the following errors after
a backup.
This same process runs fine in three other accounts. A listf on the new
log file shows
0 records.
:8:57/575/User logging file for logging process SECLF001.PUB.SEC
not empty
:8:57/#J3412/106/FROM/MGR.SEC/LOGGING RESTARTED FOR SEC DATABASE
(ulogmsg 22)
:8:57/575/Unable to start user logging process SECLOG (ulogmsg 20)
This is the stdlist from the job that is ran to start logging. I added a
showjcw after
the start command and it returns 0 so there is some kind of error in
that part of
the job file but that is not the cause of the problem. I get the same
results if
I try to build and start the logging process from the command prompt.
The problems
all started after the full backup job ran with all the production
account applications still up.
The job does not have a test to be sure all the applications and logging
processes are
shut down before it runs. Needless to say I am going to be adding some
error
testing to the jobs.
