One of the local independent TV stations here in SoCal is going to cover the
John Glenn launch as their first HDTV broadcast:

HDTV prices need to fall a long, long way before I upgrade my TV.

In the meantime, I'll be watching the launch via the IP multicasting MBONE on
Linux, at around 9fps/200-300Kbps.  Compare this to traditional Realvideo or MS
MediaPlayer streams at 1-2fps/20Kbps, *IF* you can connect at all to the
severely overloaded video servers this morning.
