At the time I asked, I had made only a brief tour of the site.
Even loading the support page, initially I was confused because I run
with "autoload images" turned off; it turns out that the navigation
there is through images.  Now I know.

I am disappointed to see a login screen, thus preventing me (and
everyone else without a login) from viewing the documentation.

I hope you'll give some consideration to making the documentation
PUBLICLY available.
