As far as I understand, with 2 or more network interfaces it is
sufficient to set "store and forward buffers" in NMMGR to have the
3000 act somewhat like a router (i.e. forward packets between the
different networks). However, it's probably neither very efficient
at that and won't speak lots of fancy routing specific protocols.
