With all die respect, I don't think this will prove anything. Even if
you get 160 NO votes, all it does is show that the HP3000-L listers were
apprised of the situation whereas the "others" voted , perhaps, blindly.
IMHO, it would seem appropriate that the true HP3000 advocacy should
reside on this list , especially as a number of influential HP employees
regularly read it. It would not be a hardship to set up this additional
channel of advocacy "officially" if someone in the HP camp would stand
up and catch the ball. Personally, I would welcome an "HP3000 specific"
Advocacy channel which included HP3000 users who were not Interex
members but I believe we have had this discussion fairly recently when
the SIC ballot excluded non-Interex HP3000 Users.
