"Lordy, where will it end, this pattern of Republicans speaking the truth?
This is a slippery slope we're on, my friends, and no good can come of it.
Just
consider these news stories from yesterday and today:
--------------------

It's only a temporary phenomonen because they need to appear to be more
moderate in order to attract undecided moderate voters. Kind of
like "kinder, gentler" Republicans. Or, can you say "compassionate
conservative"?

One need only review their convention platform to find out the truth. Of
course, they'll have the Governator, Guiliani, McCain, et al, speak at the
convention to put a moderate face on the party as well. Again, read the
platform to learn their real agenda. It will speak volumes.
