Well, "HP3000#1" and "HP3000#2" aren't valid node names, so we'll call them
SYS1 and SYS2.
If your file equation is something like (from SYS1):
:file reel;dev=sys2#9;den=1600 <where "9" is the tape drive's ldev number>
then
:store myfile;*reel;show
or
:fcopy from=myfile;to=*reel
will cause the data from sys1 to be written across the network to the tape
drive connected to sys2.
