Should be doable.

On the 3000 side, you will need to modify each "profile" to utilize the
"switch" configuration screen in nmmgr. At the same time, you need to
assign a "dummy" hardware address to the dtc so that it does not request a
download.

On the UNIX side, nothing to change. (Presumeably, the HPUX host will be
responsible for downloading to the DTC when necessary.)

I have not tried this so can't tell you for certain that it works.

What WILL certainly work is HP OPenview DTC Manager for Windows. This will
definitely permit you to accomplish your objective.
