If that is the case, the spooler process will timeout trying to acquire
the device and the spooler will stop itself.  We did some IP renumbering
awhile back and that was the symptom (timeout) until we corrected the
NPCONFIG address and restarted.

Our 640D on the other hand has an annoying habit of "stopping" in the
middle of a spool file, printer thinks it is finished, 3000 thinks the
file is still active.  This requires the JetDirect power cycle to clear.
