Tony,

I have registered for the MPE Seminar as I thought it would be a good
idea to be able to use the latest technology to be part of this.
However, when I got my instructions, I found that to get the audio, I
have to dial in to a USA number (from the UK) for the entire 90
minutes of the Seminar. That is not a huge amount of money (say $30.00
to $40.00 - I am guessing) but that sort of defeats the idea of
broadcating the Seminar over the Internet, in my view. Perhaps I could
just download a 90 minute video after the event using my normal
dial-up to the Internet at local call rates?

Is this being unreasonable?

Cheers,

John Dunlop

Hi there registrants (and others!)

You should by now have received your connection instructions. I went
through
the process as described, and want to underscore the use of the term
"Several hours". The process is not difficult, but is time-consuming
the
first time. After this it is very easy.

If you registered, and did NOT receive instructions, please email me
using
this same SUbject line, and I'll get you the info. I'll check e-mail a
couple of more times today (Saturday 10/10) and a couple of times
tomorrow
(10/11), and I'll be available from about 8:00am CDT on Monday.

If you haven't registered yet, please give it a try - neat technology
for
the seminar, and neat technology is the subject of the seminar!
