Straight through, and if you're converting to old 3-pin
ATP ports pin 7 converts to pin 1.

I need to convert my 2563-HPIB printer to a serial interface before updating
to MPEIX 6.5. I have the serial cards, and now I am wondering if someone can
tell me, Is the serial cabel to a DTC for this printer required to have
lines 2 & 3 crossed, or straight through?
