HP will now read the DUMP and see if they can find the cause of the problem.

My system is currently down. the console has the following error message
system Abort 1457 from Subsytem 102
Secondary status: info= -37 Subsys=107

System Hal 7,$05B1

FLT DEAD

My first take is to try to shutdown the system and bring it back up.. Any
words of wisdom!! Thanks.

Well first off, don't bother shutting down the system, it's already down as
it's going to get short of pulling the power plug. Second, make sure to
take a dump.

CM>TC don't do an RS, or you'll reset the system wiping out a dump
ISL>DUMP
When the system is back up

nmdat > getdump yourname
mount dump tape and reply

Call HP to read dump
