Hi Howard,

We here at Trinity have used NFS for years with very little in the way
of problems. I don't think this is an issue any more, but we went from
FTP to NFS because FTP was having problems handling large file transfers
for us (this was back in the late 90s). We "migrated" to NFS around 1998
and haven't looked back.

HTH,

One of our pointy headed developers has it in mind not to use FTP but
to
try to get NFS/iX in the door instead. Does anyone have any anecdotal
evidence one way or the other about this product?

Thanks,
Howard
