In response to some private/public messages, all asking basically the 
same question "What type of answer were you looking for?" when sending 
out Y2K questionnaires, I'm afraid you're missing the point.  It wasn't 
the answers, but the fact that some companies would actually admit 
that they are not working on the problem, or just now starting to work 
on it, especially the public utilities.  I really expected the answers 
that were CYA, heck, I've done some of those myself when replying to 
people who wanted me to certify that our company, and all of our 
suppliers would be Y2K compliant.

By the way, my questionnaire was fairly innocuous.  All we're looking 
for is the status of our vendors because one of our larger customers 
(okay, our number 2 customer) may audit our Y2K plan and one of their 
requirements is a vendor survey.

But, if you really want to know, what I really wanted was to put all 
of our vendors through the hassle of responding to all those Y2K 
questionnaires.  Just like I've been doing.
