With the chat about being search when leaving it reminds me of a story
my father once told me.

Every afternoon, at shift change, at a steel mill this one employee was
observed by security walking through the gate with a wheelbarrow filled
with dirt. He was stopped by security and the dirt was rummaged through
but nothing was every found. After about a week of this the security
guard finally said to the employee, "I know you are stealing something
but I can't find what it is, so do tell".

The employees reply was, "wheelbarrows!"
