Please pardon a question from a 3000 novice...

Yesterday, some of the IT staff in our office physically swapped the locations of two printers. Their reasons were not because either printer was having problems but because someone was whining about the speed of the printer. After the swap, we cannot print to one of the printers from the 3000 but have no trouble printing to either printer from the network. I happened to try pinging the problematic printer's IP address. No reply. I can get replies from the other swapped printer and several other printers connected to the 3000. Is the problem related to the IP address? Am I anywhere close to the source of the problem?

Also, I've tried stopping and starting the spooler for this device. When I start it I get the following message:
:spooler dev=128;start

9:16/240/Output spooler, LDEV #128: Started.

:9:17/240/Output spooler, LDEV #128: SNMP error SNMPERR_GENERR reported

while retrieving printer status.

Native Mode Spooler message 9656

9:17/240/Output spooler, LDEV #128: Cannot communicate with network printer.

Check network xport config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links started status,

intermediate network, and printer status.

Native Mode Spooler message 9662
