You could put Esc l0S in an old fashioned environment file for your LDEV
then you won't have to edit your reports.
Can't explain the cause however. Some report managing software can do
this, like Fantasia. Some of Backup software came with environments,
like Backpack. Probably Robelle, Allegro, and Hillary software could
have done it if they parse the reports beforehand.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Unwanted duplex on Laserjet P3015 from HP 3000
Replaced a Laserjet 5100 (sigh) with a P3015.
Two reports using PCL were duplexing...never happened
on any older laserjets. One other report printed simplex just fine.
I solved the problem by turning duplex off at the top of each page. (Esc
l0S)
The internal setting on the printer is duplex off.
The 5100 was using an external JetDirect, whereas the P3015 had an
embedded JetDirect.
Wonder why that happened?
