One of the guys here that works with Intermec printers suggests the
following:
 
      Set up the port as a terminal
      Build in a timer to your application (using WAIT or PAUSE)
 
Unfortunately, this is a trial and error situation.  He says the printer
won't handshake properly with the 3000.
