To Stan's version I would add after "available NOW", either on the same
line or on its own line, something to the effect of "*and* in the FUTURE"
("*"'s denoting italics) to indicate that the platform *will* be around
for the foreseeable future.

I'd like to find a way to succinctly say that not only will it be available
in the future but that applications you write today will probably not
require any changes in the future, unlike NT and UNIX.
