Short of using an editor to delete the first column of a disk file that has
carriage control, is there some combination of CCTL/NOCCTL on a file equation of
either the from_file or the to_file or both and CCTL/NOCCTL on an FCOPY
statement to end up with only the data in the to_file?

I do not have access to the SMUG I book that may be of help to me.

Thanks.
