guess that means these boxes aren't getting patched too <sigh> :-(
fwiw, my boxes still get booted once a week. our operations director and i have talked about possibly stopping the reboots but we ultimately decided that this assures that my maintenance window gets preserved/used. in my environment, if i were to give up this window (through lack of use), it would be a fight to get it back down the road. - d
ps, those weekly reboots make it real easy to get staged patches installed.

Mine's not as good as John's, but:
USER: #S1,OPERATOR.SYS,OPERATOR (NOT IN BREAK)
RELEASE: C.75.00 MPE/iX HP31900 C.45.05 USER VERSION: C.75.00
CURRENT: TUE, NOV 14, 2006, 10:41 PM
LOGON: MON, SEP 12, 2005, 2:33 AM
CPU SECONDS: 42 CONNECT MINUTES: 617528
$STDIN LDEV: 20 $STDLIST LDEV: 20
To this official record should be added 1 year, as the only reason the machine
had to be rebooted was to replace the UPS it is plugged in to. And the only
reason to reboot the machine 1 year prior was a power failure that outlasted
the UPS - so add another year. Actually, this machine has been running without
problems since 11-2-2003, other than external problems generally power related.
