Ron,

There are 3 choices here:
TIMESYNC program that was developed by Telamon,
a port of NTP that Mark Bixby did, or
NETTIME from Allegro, as suggested by donna.

I can get you a copy of either TIMESYNC, or the NTP port - just let me know. TIMESYNC is the smaller package to email, however.

In the FWIW dept - I believe all 3 work just fine, on any PA-RISC MPE system. I happen to use TIMESYNC for most of my client's systems, but that's more a matter of personal preference than anything else. Of course, YMMV. << grin >>

If I recall correctly the NTP port had a minor issue with the client trying too hard to set the time (hunting back and forth around the 'real' time), because the granularity of time it expected was finer than the exposed UI for the setclock commands provided. (i.e. - because setclock only goes down to even seconds granularity - it might try setting time if the referrenced time-base didn't show an even second when it was checked). I'm sure that Mark will correct me if I've mangled the explanation too much. ;-)

Hope this helps,

Brian Edminster
