Gee, now I'm really shaking my head!  Early last month John Joerger passed
on a note about Bill Gates taking over the Roman Catholic church.   I took
this to be a clever, light-hearted humerous piece.  Now I'm not too sure.
 
Yesterday, Pope John Paul II flew into Sydney as did Bill Gates.  Maybe the
deal is on!  Where else to meet but (as our Prime Minister so elequently put
it), "the arse end of the world".  We've also got Noam Chomsky in town.
Maybe he'll be handling the PR for them.
 
Oh well, back to things secular. :)
