It depends on your MPE/iX release. Up to 6.0, the logical unit used as ldev
1 can only be as big as 4 Gb, thanks to 32-bit addressing. Starting from
6.5, the LU used as ldev 1 can be as big as ...

Bottom line is that whatever physical device you are using as ldev 1 is
going to export logical units. That includes Model 10 disk arrays.
