Given that our site has just one 959KS/200 (hey; when it's a 3000,
many sites don't *need* more than one... :-) ), we would have no
problem with having both =SHUTDOWN and :SHUTDOWN... but
for people like Donna that have to manage a large number of 3000's;
and especially if it's over a widely dispersed geographical area; I can
see where two variations on this theme could be confusing to some
operators... so..: another name for the ":" command is fine with me..
... how about (off-the-wall-winging-it-Friday-night mode): Pick one:

SHUTGRACE
SHUTEASY
RAMPDOWN
GLIDEDOWN
FLOATDOWN
PREDOWN
EASYDOWN
GODOWN
